The Wild Mahseer is a British Assam heritage organic homestay. One characterized by its Victorian architecture and beautiful gardens. It comprises of spacious rooms across four individual bungalows. The accommodation is located on 22 acres of tropical land surrounded by tea gardens. The land has been bestowed with a wide variety of trees, plants, flowers, insects and birds. According to hearsay the Balipara tea estate was established by the British Assam Tea Company sometime around 1875.

Facilities:

Laundry and ironing can be organized on a personal hand wash basis. There is no dry cleaning.

> Car rentals and travel arrangement can be facilitated but these are best arranged prior to reaching Wild Mahseer.

> Photo copying, facsimile, internet connectivity can be organized in the nearby villages and towns. Global roaming mobile facilities are available on premises.

> Knowledge Center for our guests in sustainable practices related to Land, Energy, Waste, Water, Biodiverse Forestry management and Animal Husbandry

Wild Mahseer Heritage Bungalow  is available as a entire unit and the rates are Rs. 50,000/- per day (Includes 3 bedrooms & accommodates 6 adults)

 

 

 

 

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • Rates are inclusive of all meals.
  • These rates are applicable to Indian Nationals or Foreign National with a certificate of registration in India . For children under 12 years extra bedding will be provided @Rs. 1,000/- per bedding per night. All taxes if applicable are in addition to the room rates. Any government levies will be extra.
  • The rates are applicable from 1st September 2007 to 31st August 2008 .
